This 1965 BMW R60/2 was manufactured on June 18, 1965, and delivered to the BMW importer, Butler & Smith in New York City on June 30 of the same year. The current configuration includes a Denfeld solo seat which will be changed to the original bench seat setup. A rare period accessory, Ernst Hoske's 8.5-gallon fuel tank, is also configured. The R60/2 was the touring motorcycle of choice during the 60s. With the Earles fork front end and lugs for a sidecar, this bike can be arranged for one, two, or three passengers. This twin-cylinder, four-speed tourer is ready to cinematically or photographically capture the turmoil of the 1960s.
